MultiGips plasters are ideally suited for the
working on masonry of all types independent of whether one is concerned with
conventional masonry laid in a thick bed or bonded concrete precision block
masonry. In each case the motarless joints should not be wider than 5 mm.
To be noted is the different absorbent behaviour of limestone, porous concrete, bricks and porous bricks. The absorbent behaviour of the stones and masonry mortar should be the same or similar. Extreme or different absorbent surfaces, for example made from porous concrete, are to be pre-treated with MultiGips Grundiermittel or MultiGips Aufbrennsperre. Similarly prime or give a thin pre-rendering and fresh-to-fresh new rendering for differently absorbent surfaces.
